FAQs

  • I own my own harp! The maker is Salvi Harps, and the style is called Symphony. It is a semi-grand size, which is just slightly smaller than what you would see on a concert stage. Thanks to my trusty Toyota RAV4, I am able to load up my equipment and head your way without any concerns! If your venue has rough terrain or a large set of stairs, I always make sure to call the venue ahead of time and ask if someone will be able to assist me.

  • Yes! I am open to traveling, and I am always excited to see new venues and play in new spaces. I am open to traveling throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Southern Michigan! I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and I never mind a reason to head to my hometown.

See below for travel fee information.

  • Yes! I know a handful of other musicians in the area who enjoy doing weddings and events as well! If you have a duet or trio in mind, please reach out and I will work with you to find another musician!

  • Yes! However, the harp is very sensitive to extreme temperatures and precipitation. As long as there is a rain plan in place for outdoor events, and the venue has a covered or shady space of some sort for setup, I am comfortable with moving forward. I also own a canopy tent that can be set up to help provide shade over the harp.

I highly recommend using amplification for outdoor events. See more below.

  • Absolutely! I ask for 6-8 weeks advanced notice to make sure the piece is performance ready, but I love learning new songs! If you have a special song in mind for any part of your event, I will do my best to make it happen. We can customize a setlist to include the songs that mean the most to you! Don’t know where to start? Check out my Music page for some suggestions of popular and traditional music often seen at weddings!

  • Every event is different, but my standard wedding package starts at $400. This includes:

-A half-hour of prelude music as guests are sitting down.

    -Processional and Recessional Music.

-An optional unity ceremony song (such as a candle lighting or sand pouring).

-One or two more postlude songs as everyone is leaving.

-Cocktail Hour music comes in a package deal with the ceremony for an extra $100-$150, dependent on travel time from the ceremony site to reception location.

Other events start at $300 for the first hour, then $75 for each succeeding hour.

  • Every event within an hour of the Fort Wayne Area has no travel fee! I will also travel to Cleveland OH and the surrounding areas for a flat $50 travel fee.

All other cities and locations will be charged $.50 cents per mile for a travel fee, starting after the 50-mile mark.

  • Yes. For a small upcharge, I can provide a simple setup for the harp in outdoor settings. This will help the music cut through regular ambient noise. Cost is dependent on the level of amplification needed, but will most likely fall within the $50-$75 range.

This must be discussed and decided upon at least two weeks before the event.
