Not sure where to begin? Here are some of the most commonly asked questions during the planning process

First and foremost, wedding pricing can be found HERE. There are three different wedding packages on offer, and there is a wide range of add-ons and extras! If you dream it, we can make it happen!

  • Every event within an hour of the Fort Wayne Area has no travel fee! I will also travel to Cleveland OH and the surrounding areas for a flat $50 travel fee.

    All other cities and locations will be charged $.50 cents per mile in travel fees.

  • Absolutely! I ask for 4-6 weeks advanced notice to make sure the piece is performance ready, but I love learning new songs! If you have a special song in mind for any part of your event, I will do my best to make it happen. We can customize a setlist to include the songs that mean the most to you!   • This can vary, but a typical ceremony will have between 4 to 6 songs that will act as the background to all of your big moments! I chat with each of my couples, and determine these details as part of the booking process.

    As for the music during the prelude, I am happy to put together that playlist! Weddings are already decision overload, and the last thing I want is to make you choose 30 minutes of music that you won’t even be around to hear! However, if you’re after a certain vibe, or if there are artists or styles of music you don’t care for and want me to skip, I can accommodate these requests.

  • A solo harpist offers an elegant, intimate sound that works well for ceremonies and cocktail hours without overpowering conversation, while a full band is better suited for high-energy dancing later in the night. Many couples hire a harpist for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then switch to a DJ or band for the reception.

  • A harpist works well for corporate events, memorial services, private parties, and milestone celebrations, anywhere elegant background music fits without overwhelming the room. Maia performs as an event musician throughout the Fort Wayne area for occasions beyond weddings.

  • Popular wedding dates can book up 6–12 months in advance, so it's best to reach out as soon as you've locked in your date and venue. Learning custom songs also requires 4–6 weeks of advance notice.
